This listing is for a Vintage Antique 14K GOLD and Enamel DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Medal pin.
It is quite unusual to find one of these with all of the name plates as well as the bottom medallion all made from 14K Gold!
This item was recently purchased from an estate.

SIGNED:
The front reads 'DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION'
The back is personalized with 'Catherine S. Walthour' and the number '203275'  and this item is also marked with a makers mark of Caldwell & Co.
This item is marked with a partial 14K on the back as well (you can see the 4K) -see images.
Each of the name plates on the ribbon are also marked 14K on the back (for 14K Gold), and the top one is also marked 14K on its catch -see close images.
DIMENSIONS:
Measuring from the top of the ribbon to the bottom of the DAR Medallion pin/pendant it is about
4" long.
GEMSTONES:
No stones, this item is detailed with enamel.
MONOGRAMS:
The back is personalized with the name CATHERINE S. WALTHOUR and the numbers 203275
WEIGHT
:
14.4 grams.
CONDITION:
The Ribbon has a bit of discoloration, some minor wear and imperfections.
The thread that holds the bottom DAR pendant is a bit loose, etc.
The enamel has some small scratches/scuffs, minor wear and imperfections in some areas.
The enamel has no large chips that I can find.
The gold has some dings, dimples, nicks, scratches/scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas as well, -the gold has patina, tarnish and discoloration in some areas and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas (if desired).
