Low Profile EDC Design Is Handcrafted In America!
Offered is ONE 5 Inch "Patent Pending" Grade 5 Titanium (6AL-4V Tempered Alloy) easy Pocket Carry Palm Stick, that is HIGHLY Modular in "Optional" methods of carriage. (see my other listings)
THIS offering is a Fully "Domed Tip" version as shown in the last photo. It is the recommended tip finish for Acupressure use, but also functions well as a Door Knocker for Home Delivery Professionals!
Also useful as a "Pill Crusher" to crush and mix your medications into a liquid, for less stomach upset &/or faster absorption to ease that headache a little faster! I use a bottle cap to crush the powder into. "Acupressure" procedures are also possible uses for this stick :-)
These are designed, hand made, and assembled in the USA by:
Ti Rod Tactical™
A truly affordable and practical modern tool in the discipline of "Yawarajutsu".
I chose this length because it is quite efficient in delivering powerful hammer style "Icepick Grip" strikes, as well as forward thrusting strikes because the comfortable "Palm Swell" design allows plenty of bare tip to exit the hand. It is also very easy to comfortably pocket carry, and goes unnoticed because of it's compact size. (rubber end down is "easy" on pockets also :-)
The rubber capped end, besides offering a solid palm grip, also allows a ready choice of a bit lower strike intensity should that be more appropriate.
Making efficient use of the rubber "palm swell" grip on one end allows this stick to be highly effective, even at substantially shorter overall lengths than usually seen on Yawara and Kubotan sticks. Overall the 5" Length is a great choice for pocket carry!
The single sided rubber tip used here also gives you a choice in intensity of response, ....depending on perceived threat level. (a worthy consideration given today's litigious society!)
The rubber tip hurts plenty, btw,.....just not as much, and is a bit safer if you regularly train with a partner. Also, misjudgment of depth or intensity of strike are somewhat less painful when using a training partner.
The rounded titanium tip is quite comfortable positioned with your third and pinky finger wrapped around the rod and rubber cap pressed against the palm area of your hand, with the "inside" side of the third finger butting up against the beveled edge of the center rubber grip. This gives you effective use of the wider rubber end for a little milder level of force imparted when using forward thrusting strikes. In today's litigious society,....this is not a consideration to be ignored.
For lots of reasons, it also makes sense to consider carrying multiple sticks at various locations upon your person, which is what I most often do.
Additionally, this stick is also quite useful as a Door Knocker for anyone having to regularly deliver something to a household (Pizza, Postman> Process Server, etc), and is a perfectly reasonable explanation for you to be carrying it.
I have been offering, in separate listings, various lengths, thicknesses, and designs of this same great Titanium alloy, some with a variety of carry systems. Please check them out........
ALSO,....PLEASE make sure Yawara and Kubotan style sticks are legal to carry in your Country, State, City, or Town
before
purchasing. Some areas may have restrictions on such things, and I cannot possibly know about every specific law in every area of the world. :-) Your purchase confirms you have complied with your local laws. Thank You.
(Side NOTE): After cleaning the tip(s), I have also regularly BEAT a tough cut of BEEF into submission with this acting as an effective tenderizer! Using the wider rubber tip end and pounding thoroughly over a solid cutting board, you get a little workout with hammer fist strikes ,...and a tender steak reward later. You can even use the bare titanium tip end, .......if you want "cube steak"! Who says a workout can't be rewarding :-)
