Low Profile EDC Design Is Handcrafted In America!
Offered is ONE "Patent Pending"Grade 5 Titanium (6AL-4V Alloy) Easy-Carry, Belt Keeper Quick-Deploy Palm Cap Stick that is HIGHLY Modular in method of carriage.
(also useful as a "Pill Crusher" to crush and mix your medications into a liquid, for less stomach upset &/or faster absorption to ease that headache a little faster!  I use a bottle cap to crush the powder into. "Acupressure" procedures are also possible uses for this stick :-)
NOTE:
Besides the 5" stick offered here, I also make this stick in 4-1/4" and 4-1/2"
s
tick lengths in other listings.  The shorter lengths allow for easier and more comfortable sitting (The 4-1/4" is my preference for that reason), but then I have longer Titanium Yawara Sticks in each pocket which you may not have,...YET! :-)
However
, the
5" length
is the most requested by my customers
,
so I will make this the default length
should you not request anything else.  If you only intend to carry one stick of this style, I can't fault that length choice.
These are designed, hand made, and assembled in the USA by: "Ti Rod Tactical™"
This tempered Grade 5 Titanium is much stronger and harder than wooden, aluminum, or polymer made sticks, ....and won't rust either as Titanium is inert to the elements. Minor scratches are easily removed with a simple "Scotch-Brite" scrub pad that most of you already use in the kitchen. A truly affordable and practical modern tool in the discipline of "Yawarajutsu".
Every effort was made to make all the sticks truly "ergonomic", with a wonderful feel "in hand". The central reinforced rubber area gives a much better grip, because it has a higher coefficient of friction property to it. I sand and bevel all ends of the gripping and carriage materials, and in this version the mold seams on the cap.
I personally prefer the shorter end of the range in length (4-1/2" and carried at my side) as it doesn't interfere while sitting "if" you carry it in back. But even the longer 5 inch stick offered in this listing is non threatening, and has yet to elicit ANY response or comments from anyone including many trips to the mall and past security over 4 months in a test several years ago, even when carried fully out in the open AND engaging in friendly banter with the mall security guards regularly.  But I also carry several longer Yawara Style sticks at the same time.  For a single carry stick the 5" default length will serve you well if you are limiting yourself to just one stick of this design.
In several other listings I also offer a variety of Titanium Yawara style sticks, some with my ergonomic central Fist-Lock

grip fitted to the user's hand,......for those preferring the traditional two identical uncovered ends for pocket carry.
This belt keeper carry system is very quick to deploy, as it's at the hip and already near the hand. Only my key ring short stick is quicker, because that is already IN the hand and positioned effectively with just a short tug required.
This design, in making use of shorter stick lengths for compact carry, really do benefit from the use of the tapered rubber end cap. This cap makes a very comfortable "palm swell" to grip onto, and will allow a substantial length of stick "tip" to protrude from the hand in these lengths.
I have found that for most folks, these sticks when sized in the 4-1/4", 4-1/2" 5" lengths work well and you can certainly opt to also carry this stick in your front pants or jacket pocket, where it nestles rather well and carries unnoticed.
For lots of reasons, it makes sense to consider carrying multiple defensive sticks at various locations upon your person, which is what I most often do.  (especially should you be grabbed in any way restricting deployment of your main stick!)
Thanks for your consideration.
ALSO,....PLEASE make sure Yawara and Kubotan style sticks are legal to carry in your Country, State, City, or Town
before
purchasing. Some areas may have restrictions on such things, and I cannot possibly know about every specific law in every area of the world. :-)  Your purchase confirms you have complied with your local laws. Thank You.
NOTE:
On all of my sticks like this using a separating hose carriage, I use a little "Trident" Brand Silicone lubricant, and will include some with your order.  A
light
film within the carriage hose connection and on the shaft sides is all that is needed. This is available at most Hardware Stores in the plumbing section, and Dive shops carry it also. It seems to work very well in this application, and does not dry out as readily as Vaseline does.  It doesn't take much to get the job done, so apply sparingly! I used Vaseline initially because most folks already had it at home,......but have found the Silicone Grease lasts longer between applications so is better suited to this use.
Applying just a light "film" will affect a very S-M-O-O-T-H release when reasonable force is applied.    It doesn't take much when applied to the inside of the rubber hose connection, and a little on the shaft that enters the hose. If you've used too much, just wipe away the excess until you achieve the release "feel" you want, but is still secure. Re-apply the lubricant as necessary.....and less will be needed as the hose stretches a little in a month or two.
(Side NOTE): After cleaning the tip(s), I have also regularly BEAT a tough cut of BEEF into submission with this acting as an effective tenderizer!  Using the wider rubber tip end and pounding thoroughly over a solid cutting board, you get a little workout with hammer fist strikes ,...and a tender steak reward later. You can even use the bare titanium tip end, .......if you want "cube steak"! Who says a workout can't be rewarding :-)
