    Description

Original Vintage CHECKBOOK from Daughters Of America
    With an unfortunate misprint.
This is a booklet of unused checks with the DA imprint.  Just one is torn out.  Most of the rest are intact and still attached to the spine, except for a few in the middle.
When the checks are examined closely, you can see why they were not used.  Under the "For" line is the phrase "and his shall be a sufficient voucher on settlement of the acocunt."
    "Account" is misspelled as "
    acocunt
."  Whoops.  And this group was the DAUGHTERS of America.  Kind of funny when you think about it.
These checks look like they're from the 1920s or 30s, and at this time the C word was probably vulgar.
And the DA couldn't issue checks with such a vulgarity on them.
    And here they are.
    Booklet measures 9.5" x 3" x 1".
